Instrument Cluster for a 95 900SS/CR

I've been thinking about adding an oil temp gauge and figured I could try and find an instrument cluster from a 95+ SS/SP. Wiring schematic doesn't appear to suggest any issues but what about the Oil temp sending unit ?

Anyone know where they go, on the engine. Want to make sure that the option even exists to mount the thing.

Any info would be appreciated and if you have a cluster and temp unit to sell that would work too !!!

i'd advise against it because you'll constantly look at the oil temp gauge and think the temp is too high (when before, without the gauge, you cared less)

plus, there aren't that accurate to begin with.

if you must,... the temp sensor attaches to the oil filter screen bolt. you'll have to get an updated oil filter screen and the wiring necessary for it.
