Very good suggestion because I have run into this and had to deal with the headache of broken and siezed adjusters. I used anti-sieze instead. Made a little more sense than oil to me.

Went to nut&bolt shop & replaced stock with stainless.

Stainless hardware is softer so be careful. Even if the hardware doesn't corrode, the insert in the arm will so you should still use anti sieze.
