Sorry I can't help out, but if you find what you are looking for and decide to get rid of your plastics let me know. I am interested in maybe taking them off your hands.

Check Airtech, they have some generic vintage stuff.

Gonna need to make some fancy mounts. I highly doubt it'll "go right on".

Nothing other than stock will "go right on". I've got 996 bodywork on my 92 SS, and it took some very creative "adaptors" to make everything fit right. You may want to look into getting a MH fairing bracket and see figure out how to mount that to your steering head. I have a custom alumnium "adaptor plates" that mount my 996 headlight bucket to the 750SS headstock. If you sent me your email addy, I'll send you a pic of the mount. IIRC the mounts for a MH stay and the newer SS stay are very close in design, and having a single headlight, the wiring would be ALOT easier to do.

well fabricating is not hard just sourcing the parts now. i fabricated my stock high mount exhaust. and a few other bikes now. so this will be easy. and i plan on losing my headlight plastics and so forth. mainly want to start with the front and work my way back.even a cafe style all the way around will look good.
