Any interest in LED taillights for 1999-2005 SuperSports? Please respond.

I have not been able to find anyone who makes the LED taillights for the late model Supersports. I have a clear lense and wanted the clear red and amber led light board.

I have a friend who is an electronics engineer and he will help me design the LED board and we can produce a small run of about 50 of them for about $200/each. If I try to have just 1 made for myself it will be much more expensive. If we have allot of interest we could probably get them even cheaper.

So my question is: how many of you would be interested in buying one, if I have them made?

If I start in the next few weeks they can be done by mid April. They would be very similar to the lights found at this link for the ZX-6

but they would fit in the stock Ducati SuperSport housing. They would have the same blinker function you see in the zx-6 link. If you would only want one with the brake light functions let me know as well. They would probably only be $150 each to produce.

This is the kit I've got on my bike... works really well. Includes running light, brake light, and turn signal functions.

Very cool! It looks like it has only red led's though. I need red and amber to pass MA inspection though. Is it red and amber? It's hard to see in the pics.

I think the LED's are red or white, I don't remember from when I was installing the kit. I've got the red tail lens though, and haven't had any problems w/ not having amber turn signals.
Might be possible to buy the kit and then just buy some amber LED's and install them in place of the red ones for the turn signals...

He has them available with Amber LEDs for the SS.
