Re: Has anyone ever put one of these on a 91-98 Supersport? (DesmoBob)
My answer is "No." But actually I don't know what I am answering. I assume you are talking about the belly pan? If you are talking about that, then the answer is still "No". But I really do like the look though.

Yeah, duh, my bad...it's the belly pan I'm talking about. I think it would look cool in CF, painted red to match the bike, with a logo of some sort revealed in carbon under the eventual clear coat. Maybe even with ss mesh inserted in the front to cool the cylinder/headpipe...and to look cool, of course!
I have a full length CF DP Monster bellypan on my "de-fairinged" SuperLight.
Fit's fine except the oil cooler pipes needed clearance grooves made and also where the sidestand bracket bolts to the engine cases. Not major problems but worth bearing in mind.

Doesn't 908SSP have something like that on his custom job? I seem to remember that he had a bikini-type fairing with a belly pan, leaving the engine open to be seen. I think it's a cool look, but I know a lot of that bike was custom and might be tough to fabricate. I agree with the clearance issues though. I've scraped the sides of my bottom fairings at the track during cornering, so if the belly pan projected further down they might get torn up. But I do think it's a cool look.
