Default New battery time!

Well, it is seriously time for a new battery! It has been awhile since I've been in the market and wanted your excellent feedback on batteries. The standard replacement for my '96 SS is a Yuasa YB16AL-A2.

I was wondering if anybody has a better suggestion with perhaps newer technology or lighter weight or higher output??

You know, a better one!

Thanks in advance...

I use an Odyssey dry cell. It weighs more but I've taken off a lot of other weight. It cranks much more powerfully even when engine is hot and I have 11:1 so its great to not have to worry or charge it -- it is always ready with bigger power than regular batts.

settled on a xtreme (from batteries plus), sealed AGM battery. half the price of the odysseys -- $70, and didn't have to wait for it. XTA12B-BS for the late models. 6lbs, 1 more than the PC310 and 9 less than the PC680.
