Default Choke cable

'96 900SS CR: The choke cable pops out of the guide by the clip on when I turn it off. I never saw this before and it doesn't seem to be running rich, as I would suspect if the choke were stuck on. If anybody has a suggestion, I'd appreciate it.

Default choke

If the cable is loose and flopping around, the choke is not usually on, it's spring loaded to off position. Why yours came out, I don't know.

Thanks. I think I was just hoping not to have to pull the airbox to check it. Did, so and the cable turned out just to be way out of adjustment. How that happened, I have no idea.
