Default Installing shorty Mirrors, how to?

Well, I bought the CRG bar end mirrors for my 1995 Supersport a while back. I went to install them, and I have no idea how to? I looked at the stock bar ends and there is nothing to unscrew or unthread on the bars. There is a hole inside the stock bar end, but it is not threaded nor is it unscrewable. So I am confused and feeling stupid at the moment. Can someone shed some light on this supposedly easy installation project.

If all you got was the mirrors you'd have to move the grips and controls up on the handlebars to fit the CRG's. You need to get the little adaptors that mount inside the end of the handlebars that give the CRG's something to clamp on to... CRG adaptors.

The adaptors use an expansion bolt-type clamp to clamp inside the handlebar, and the end of the adaptor is sized so the CRG's bolt right on. Bonus is that you don't lose any handlebar width and resulting leverage on the steering.

Once you have those things installation is really simple. Unless you can move the grips/controls around.

The CRG's rock... usable mirrors, what a concept!!

Yes. I have the CRG bar ends in this kit, and bascally have everything you are talking about. So how do you get the stock bar ends off of the stock handlebars?

You basically have to destroy the stock plastic bar ends to get them off. I cranked on them with vice grips and they started breaking off in chunks.

Messy, but the CRG's will be worth it.
