I'll shoot some pics and send them out to you tonight. (So yes, the wheel is still available!)

Thanks for the inquiry,

Bob

Tank is sold. I updated the list; it's over in a few days. Most stuff sold, but everything on the list is still up for sale, plus lots of odds and ends.

Today I pulled the frame off the engine for the last time. Number D77 will never ride again. I have parts, bolts, washers, seals, wires, unused decals and tools I'll probably never use again. And I have memories. But the sadness I have felt over the last two weeks is almost inexplicable.

I'm picking up my new bike Saturday, a 2007 Multistrada 1100. Ducati hard panniers, and the Termignoni CF exhaust/ECU/air filter kit. First new bike. I know the Multi has its detractors, but I picked it after long consideration and much thought... thought that included the S4R, the Sport Classic GT1000 or 1000S, the S2R 1000, even the 1098.

At the end of the day, I just want to enjoy riding. I loved my SS, and now I'll have a new bike to love. A bike that can comfortably accomodate a passenger (and comfortably accomodate me!) that can commute, tour for days, and carve up the West Virginia curves. A bike that still goes, stops and handles like a Ducati.

I think, I hope, and I'm betting that the Multi is the one.

Thanks to those of you who helped make a dream a reality, and especially to Dave and everyone on this board. Despite the many differences of opinion here(!), this place has always been an inspiration and a source of real "brotherhood" for me. I feel fortunate that despite my change of ride, I still get to be a part of it.

Too bad about parting it out =(

Do you have the wires that attach from the bottom of the tank/fuel pump and end in a weather-tight connector?

I need the little switch that activates the front brake light. The micro-switch that the front brake lever pushes on. If this is available please respond to my pm... rjhancock2@cox.net . Thanks.

If Bob does not have the microswitch, I think I have a new one sitting around.

Hi Bob. UPS just dropped off my "X-Mas present" and I must say I am impressed! You did some very nice work on the part and I am very grateful to have it on my ride. I will be showing off your work every chance I get... .

I sent you a PM also.

Best regards,

Jeff

Did you sell the rotors, Were they cast? What were they worth if you don't mind, I have an extra pair to sell and trying to figure what 's fair to price them.
