Some time back someone posted some pictures of a early 90's SS painted up silver with the turquoise green frame, been trying to find those pictures as it looked awesome and have been trying to come up with some winter project ideas for my 785 motor I have sitting in the garage

I don't know about early 90's but the guys at MotoWheels have that config on an FE that looked really nice.
I know exactly which bike you're talking about. I saw it at Vegas a few years ago. I could have sworn I saved some pictures of it, but I can't find them. I'll keep looking.
You might want to also post this at ducati.ms. There are a tons of very knowledgeable Ducatisti over there. Somebody has to know that bike...

This isn't the one I was thinking about. Similar concept, but it had the stock SS tail on it, and it even had a fake "fuel level stripe" painted onto the tank...
Bruntr,
I think I have a picture in one of my Italian Bike magazines that shows the bike you are looking for. The owner had two bikes a SS and a older Bevel. They were painted the same and had somthing like 100,000 miles on each. I'll look for it after work.
