dyno jet kit

i have just fitted a dyno jet stage 1 kit.i have used all the springs and jets from it.i have straight through exhausts,but standard air box,snorkels removed. the kit states that the air screws should be 2 turns out,but else where i have read they can be upto 4 turns out.any advice? thanks.
