Are they 41mm USD type, or 43mm?

On two pair of older 41mm adjustable Showas from SSs I run oil level at 108mm from the top/fully compressed/spring & sleeve removed. That is about 440cc, but I go stricly by level.

I weigh about 220 also. The better forks have Ohlins straight rate springs and work great. Both pair have 10wt oil and stock valving. The other pair has stock springs, and hasn't been on the track yet.

If yours are a different type, never mind.
