Default Jetting question.????

Hey guys, I put the stage one kit in my 95 SP and the idle seems to be hanging up a bit before it comes down.
IIRC this is a lean idle jet. right?
Do you guys just go with the settings they give or any suggestions?
The plugs looked a little white, I went with the 124's that came with it but I'm thinkin a set of 126's might be the ticket.

What is your set-up? Do you have aftermarket pipes, a K&N filter or open air box etc...? You could try the next size up (richer) for your pilot jet, that should help your idle problem. I wouldn't really read too much into your plug color, unless you know correct time to check it (top speed run and holding clutch in and then pulling plug to inspect, this sucks cause the damn thing is real hot). I would put a bigger main jet in to see how it responds to that also, I bet 140's would work if you have aft. market pipes. Pull the snorkels if you haven't already. Have fun tinkering with it!

Check to be sure that you have just a little slack in the accelerator cables . if they are too tight, they will hold the slide up and keep it from coming down completely , causing your problem.

Thanks to those that replied, I seem to have it dialed now.
Another turn out on the idle jets and put the snorkels back on and it seems to run better all around.
It was a K&N stage one kit with the snorkels off and slip on's.
Happy now, just gotta find this damn oil leak now.
