Default Part # for 99+ Left side lower fairing mount

I need the weird fairing screw on the bottom of the fairing on the left side. I believe the threading is 10x1.25 but I could be wrong. Either way I haven't found a screw long enough to substitute the original so I have to use find the stock one. After searching for it at the dealer and by myself. i still haven't found it. Anyone know?

It's hard to imagine a Ducati dealer not being able to look it up... doubtful they would have it in stock, but they could order it for you. I've ordered in lots of weird odds and ends. Tank strap, shift and brake pedal rubber, seat buffers, and other such parts. Longest I remember having to wait is two weeks. In any case, try this

That is a link to the bike bandit site. Your screw is part number 34, and looks to be about $.70.

You're always there saving me redduck. Thank You

Here's my only issue with this part. It looks liek a screw. I dont know what the right part should be because I changed this from ahalf to a full. But I ahve looked at the new 800s and it looks like a screw type bracket. Should I go ahead and order this one anyway?

Ahhh, didn't know you changed from half to full faring. You probably need the stand-off stud thing that screws into the engine case. The screw (part 34 on the first diagram) screws into that stand-off securing the fairing.

On this sheet, part 11 is the stand-off. You'll need the screw and nylon washer from the first sheet (34 and 35) as well.

What about the right side? There is a special nut that is used to secure the brake pedal which allows the right side fairing to be attached. It's part #7 on this link.

Good luck...

PERFECT! That's EXACTLY waht I was looking for. This is why I love these forums and guys like you redduck.

THANK YOU.

As far as the otehr side, I just found a small screw with the correct threading and threw some plumber's tape on it and a washer, and fastened it well.

Next is to find a cap for the the number 5 piece on the first link. Since I had it "rerouted" the wire I used is bare, so I need to cover it up, and electrical tape wont be enough.
