Default 600ss help needed,

my 600 jumped timing i think, the belts are a bit knackered , one had the teeth worn of it, the bike made a loud knockin noise when it happened, and now it wont start,it turns over ok, ive checked the cams ,i can turn one by hand and i cant turn the other one at all, that was the one with the belt that had its teeth worn off, siezed, the other one seemed fine, ive looked at the tappets and they seem fine, any ideas,, i would be lookin for parts to fix it like new belts for starters, any ideas on good places to get parts aswell,,,
cheers

Don't try to run it anymore. Cam out of timing can mean valve hitting piston. If it were mine I would pull the head on the affected cylinder before doing anything else. If the bike is still new you might be able to get help from the dealer and warranty. California Cycle Works sells belts at good prices, but I think you may need way more than that. Matter of fact, the way you phrase the question suggests you may need to take it somewhere.....not a job for the home body who hasn't been in these things before.

Sorry.
