Default 98FE rear brake link

I suspect this is supposed to be adjusted when the chain is adjusted, but the manual doesn't say. What do you guys do with this?

The caliper stays a fixed distance from the engine 'cos it's attached to the tie rod. As the wheel moves back the caliper and it's bracket simply rotate around the axle. It needs no adjustment.
