Very nice. With the high mounts, do the pipes get in the way of tucking in your boots on the pegs? I ride with the balls of my feet on the pegs and that concerned me with the highmounts.

Again, very nice. The mid 90's 900SS is one of my favorite Ducs of all time.

not sure what size your foot print is but I wear a SIDI boot size 44/10 US and the heel of my boot does in fact come in contact with the pipes...since I have just mounted them I can not tell you how they well feel on the WILLOW springs race track until the end of the month. But for now I can ride on the ball of my foot and just in case you have not noticed I have rear sets...they move my foot 1 1/2" up and 1 1/2" back

regards

Dang, they look like they fit so close to the current SuperSport model... but I'm assuming they aren't compatible without some serious modification?

Here is my source of my madness, and no the pipes aren't an issue for my size 10 feet. This bike was easily keeping up to my buddies R1 today in the twisties, and the 600's were easy to pass in and out of corners. Cheers!

I picked up a set of the low mount (carbon) from AMS but cannot figure out how the mounting bracket installs. Can someone who went for the low mounts provide a picture. I'm beginning to think I was sent the wrong brackets.

.
My heels rest on the heat shield that comes on the high mounts. I initially thought the heat may be enough to melt the heel, but it doesn't. Even makes a good heel rest when cruising, so not a problem.

Look on page 2, the picture of my 1992 under "DesmoEd" shows their full system with low mount cans. I went in person to AMS to pick up my systems, I bought two full systems, the brackets in both were confusing. One of my systems had 2 sets of brackets, the pictured brackets and a set that was not correct for the model. I went with the high mount/passenger peg delete brackets but had to add a small 3in piece of aluminum to make it work.

If all else fails, a machine shop can fab a couple of aluminum brackets, just take in a stock mount for a template.

Good Luck, Ed.
