Default bottom end break-in?

I'm just about ready to test fire my 750SS after putting new rods and main bearings in.

Is there any break-in advice I need to follow? I am running the same pistons and rings from last season, so that's not the issue.

I obviously had too much time on my hands this winter...i converted it to dry slipper clutch too

Oh man! You put a shark mouth on the fairing! I always wanted to do that! Only I want a people tongue hanging way out of the back corner (sort of flapping in the wind) with some blue colored slobber drops dripping up the side and onto the tail.

Your bike looks awesome and I bet it will work even better!

What's the clearance on the rod bearings? If they are tighter than 1 1/2 thou. I would take it easy for a few hundred miles. If 1 1/2 or more don't worry about it.

Thanks Marvin. I'll check my notes. I think they are just on the looser side, my crank journal was just within spec. for std half shells.

NC, the fairing on the wall is from my old 748. I've been toying with fitting it to the SS [If I hammer the SS bodywork again...it has already gained a few lbs. in glass and resin ]

Could you maybe make some detailed pictures of the brackets for your seat. I assume you have some kind of monotail? I'm looking for a nice solution to install my monotail.

Thanks!!
