Default 800 Supersport Front Amber (Fork) Reflectors - buying

A lot of owners take the side reflector out as soon as they get the bike. I am looking for front amber 800 supersport reflectors. Does anyone here want to sell theirs (good or brand new condition)?

I'd be happy to give you mine if someone could tell me how to get the buggers off in an efficient way. I just have not bothered because I didn't think the risk of screwing up the fender was worth the benefit of not having them on there.

I thought I was the only one afraid to screw it up. I bought a mint front fender off Ebay, then pulled the reflectors off successfully. They are only on there with two sided tape. Unfortunately I threw the reflectors away.

I don't like having it there too. But all safety’s sake...

3M makes a nice honeycomb tape and it comes in different colors. The stuff is very reflective and you could do anything you want with it. (Run a small 1/2" strip along fenders edge with the red tape) Just a thought.

Here is what I was talking about:

And

Me thinks it would look alot better than the orange, would blend with the bike better, be less noticeable in daytime, more noticeable at night, and would give you more flexibility to do something different.

EASY!! Go in the bathroom and dig up some dental floss. Wrap some around your thumbs and saw the floss back and forth through the double sided tape that holds the reflector on. You can take the residual tape off with WD-40. While you are down there, wipe down your fork sliders.

Thanks CaliDuc. I placed the bid. I'll put a small piece on the fork and post the photo weeks from now for everone to judge if it's a keeper or gooner...

Thanks Blade625. I decided not to put them in after a lot of people said "why would you"? and "it's not going to make a big difference in safety anyway".

Thanks for the reply guys!
