Default Ricambi Weiss Contact?

Does anyone have a contact for the company Ricambi-Weiss in Germany. I've sent several emails over to them with no response and I'm having a hard time with the phone number off their web page.

Thanks!

Just ordered (and payed) some stuff but nothing received yet.... Have only heard possitive comments on them so far.

Will try to phone them. Any particular issue for you?

Well, I had a question on whether or not one of the seats they offer will fit my 2005. Plus I want to know if these parts are ready for paint when received or is there additional work that needs to be done to them. The seat in question from the webpage is GRP SEAT COVER DUCATI 900 IE.

Here's a link:

.
I sent them an email and I filled out their "Have A Question" section on their webpage.

How did you order? Did you get any confirmation back or did they tell you the lead time?

Their number is 06345 949430

Calling from the U.S. should be 49 6345 949430 If I remember correctly.

Herr Ralf speaks english and is quite knowledgable.

As far as the material, you'd probably have to do some sanding and stuff since Gel coat is just notorious for spiderwebbing.

Garrett

I had a friend that lives near him pick up my parts and then ship them from the U.S. post office on base (ramstein) since he's located about 5 minutes from there. saved me a heck of alot in shipping.

Yes, not a problem!!!! I also have received my race fairing and monoseat already today after calling him yesterday. Looks like it needs some work before it's gona be ready for painting. But that's what I expected anyway. Detailed pictures will follow.

Anyone any advise on what kind of preparation you need to do?

ciao tallieud -

i purchased one of these monposto seat covers from them about 3 years ago ... it came painted with primer. fit was excellent, and quality of the 'glass was also very good.

once i had wire transfered money to them, they shipped the seat cover right away and it arrived one week after payment was wired. good group, imho.

ciao,
johnc

My son ruined my camera.... Sorry guys. Quality looks reaonable, certainly given the price....

I have a tail that's pretty similar to the supermono tail. Just need to figure out how to install it. Maybe need to use a piece of wood as a support between the frame and the seat. Anybody experience with this.

Will try to get a new camera first.

Regards,

Dick

I received confirmation that my tail section shipped out today. I was able to speak to them and the best suggestion I have is to order it from ebay in th U.K.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/

I was able to fumble my way through the German ebay and get it ordered. I called to confirm they received it and everything was good to go. I'll let you know the outcome when I receive it. Thanks for everyones help!

I had a friend from Ramstein pick them up in person and ship them to me via USPS since the little village that ricambi is in is only 5 minutes from there....It took longer but only costed about 14 bucks for the side panel and mono tail..

Know any americans stationed in the kaiserslautern area? call in a favor if you do....Or even mannheim/baumholder/stuttgart since those aren't that unreasonably far...
