Default Cagiva levers? dumb q's?

I was adjusting the shift lever on my duc when I noticed the rubber peice on the lever had the Cagiva logo and name instead of ducati. I took a look at the rear brake lever, same thing.

They match the rest of the rearset assembly and don't look like they are after market....

Was Cagiva just the supplier for those levers? or did the PO put different levers on?
