Default Axle tool?

Anyone got the axle tool used to hold the axle from turning when installing? Aftermarket, or DOS, etc.
I'd like to see a picture of it so I know the right one to get.
999R with Ohlins forks.
TIA

Or this one, that looks like the tool pictured in my repair manual, but I can't see how it would work with the extended pin as the Ohlins has no notch in the bottom???

ohlins forks usually don't use the fork tool. That is a showa thing. I know the ohlins forks for my Sport are actually on the underside but not under the axle. What kinda (model) fork are you using. I think i might have a spare if you need one.

I plan on making one myself. But as to your question,i think the second pic is it. The pins look to be spring loaded, so as you spin the axle and it lines up, the long pin pops into place to hold the axle in position. The short pin maintains pressure on the axle while tightening.

A piece of round stock with a dowel pin in it would work just fine.

Align the axle
-snug up the axle-nut to pull the components together
-set the pinch bolts on the far side
-torque the axle-nut to 25%
-set the pinch bolts on the nut side
-tighten the axle-nut to 100% torque.

Who needs the alignment tool?
