Default Water Pump Gasket

Does anyone have the Water Pump Gasket Part# for a 1998 Ducati 748? Or does anyone have one?

I ordered the 2000 gasket and it is very different.

You need the 4 hole gasket (see pic...)
Call BCM tomorrow (closed on Mon) and tell Myles what you need.
I might have the P# at home...will have to check later tonite.

I got one for my 998 and it was wrong too. I just trimmed it with some tin snips and now it's fine though.

But my 998 didn't have one stock I guess. The parts diagram lists one but people tell me they didn't have gaskets for the most part.

Default Bcm

I talked to Myles. Very Knowledgeable.

Of course I broke the Oil Ring putting the vertical Cylinders back on.

$162.50 from Ducati for the Set. Ouch!!! He is going to look and see if they have a used one.

Is there any problem doing this?

I have a gasket and good but ground down cover for a '98 748 (4 mtg. holes). I need a full water pump for a 2001 996. I would swap the parts I have (cover and gasket) for your newer gasket.

Default Gasket

If you want the Gasket PM me and I will mail it to you. It is not worth the hassle of returning it. I already bought a Gasket from BCM. Thanks for the offer.
