Default 998 into a 748

I'm looking to put a 998 engine into a 748 frame (not an R frame). I know there is a bit of work that will be needed, but if anyone can give me a quick little rundown of what is needed. I know new throttle bodies, but what else?

Just cruised by, do a search here in the superbikes section and at .ms and contact amullo there, that'll render reading for weeks.

For a non R frame you need to alter the tb's a bit, but if you are wicked enough to imagine it, you can do it.

It should fit fine....you will need to relocate your coils, get a 998 ECU and you'll need to drill out the motor mounts on the frame as the 998 's are 12mm and the 748's are 10mm....I had to do it when I did the 996 conversion....otherwise theres a few smaller mods, but you should be fine!
