Default 749 R heads on S4R (Testastretta)

Hi everybody,
I have a 2007 S4R (Testastretta) and a sleeping 749 R engine.
I wonder if I can fits on my S4R engine, the 749 R heads.
Does the piston can touch the valves ? What are the mods to make before puting the heads ?

I have the Termignoni full system on my S4R (148hp kit). Does the Ecu provided can be used ?
A nemesis Ecu is necessary ?

Many thanks for replying,
Kevin

i briefly asked about putting 749r heads and cams on my 03 749/924 last year and was told that the spacing is slightly different and it wouldn't be an easy add-on. that's all i know, sorry i don't have any specifics, but i hope it helps.

I would check the bolt spacing and any differences in combustion chamber size, general measurements and waterjackets and stuff like that.

An easier route would be to take the 749r cams and fit in the 999 heads, you will need the 749 opening rockers aswell and also grind the closing lobes a bit, other than that its straight forward. You may deck the head a bit to raise comp and of course dial the cams in. good luck!
