Default Need a Pick of a Corse Rocker Please

I'm looking for a picture of a REAL Ducati Corse flat shock rocker. One of the ones that came with a mag arm would be fine or a pic from any of the 748-999 racebikes.

If you can't post it can you email it to me? departmentofsuspesion@yahoo.com

thanks a lot!

If you cant get one of the REAL one I can shoot a pic of a knock off one if that helps. I think we have either the motowheels one or yoyodyne.

Yeah, one of the knock offs is fine. I'm just looking for one with the "chunky" race look that the Corse ones have. The ones with square edges, etc.

thanks a lot!

I do have this pic as well. If this doesn't work I will go take one of the one that is on our project 996 bike.

The rocker I saw on an ex-AMA 998RS (maybe it was a 996, I'm not positive) had three holes for the ride-height rod, not two.

I think the 998RS used an even longer mag swingarm as well!

The usual length of the mag is 19mm longer and the 998RS was 25mm longer......I learned this yesterday so its not FACT.

They had millions of those things. And they are all so close to each other that only the best riders on the planet with the best bikes and best tires would be able to tell the difference. The Corse guys are constantly playing with that stuff. They do development all the way through the season. And they are easy enough to knock out. If a rider were to ask for a certain feel from the rear end I’m sure the team shop would be more than happy to make one that is a little different so they could take a shot at getting what the rider wants out of it. Again, Pro rider, Pro bikes, Pro tires, etc.

I have been graphing out the rocker ratios of all the bikes (748-1198) with the OEM rockers and then with the “Corse” rockers. A lot of them are very, very, very close to each other. When I am all done, I have a few more to measure up today I am going to post the graphs up so people can see the difference between them. I have not laid all the graphs over the top of each other yet but in a lot of cases I already know that there is no mortal that would be able to tell the difference between some of them. That being said there are a few rocker combinations that are “out there”.

Stay “Tuned”

You are correct, the swinagrms "grew" over the years as the chassis of the 916 got developed.
