Default Carrillo rods and shell bearings

Will be installing some carillos to a 900 ssie soon. I havent had chance to measure anything yet . does anyone know what starting grade shell bearing colours may be needed in advance so i can make sure i have stock before i start ?

It all depends on what journal size 900 crank your starting with....A/B? Journal size is the deciding factor on babbit bearing colur choice.

This is the main reason for mixing and matching bearing shell colurs,

Red/Red, Blue/Blue, Red/Blue, Gay-pink/Puke-green, Flamer-violet/Piss-yellow.

Thats correct not always what it seems .Many times A stamped cranks have been smaller,larger than there manual specified sizes , shell bearings too.

My concern was recieving the rods and realising there bore was smaller , larger than the average size needing the rare yellow ,black and other colour bearings . After measurng them today i can confirm they are within the standard sizes.

not so much rare as expensive
