Default Moto-one rocks

I finally got my cams adjusted on the 853. (see this thread:Rebuilding motor - Desmo Northwest ) I used Ducati adjustable pulleys as all other brands seemed to be made of unobtainium.

Got the motor back in the frame tonight. Moto ones notebook was a great mine of knowledge. I also have a 50mm throttle body that is going on. And, I just happen to have printed out Moto-ones paper on TPS and throttle body adjustment!

Thanks!!

well, it's not actually moto one anymore. it doesn't exist as it did when i worked there. the performance pages are now back on the moto one address, but all the old stuff is and any new work will be posted on my site - BikeBoy.org

someone has bought the moto one name and web site and i believe they believe they own the performance page stuff that i wrote outside work hours and was not paid for.

If it is what you wrote it´s your intellectual property.

I´d make them take it off as long as you´re not affiliated with them.
They´re taking away work from you on your cost. Don´t be stupid and let them use it.

I second that. Brad you are a wealth of knoledge and those reports took many hours of hard work. Your site is known worldwide , maybe motoone can put your new contact details at the bottom of the page seeing as its your work . I linked you to my site last week by the way.

Thanks for the new addy. I hope you get your stuff worked out with the old site.

So what eprom would you recommend? 1999 748/853, stock cams/heads, Gianelli silencers (slip ons), 996 50mm dual throttle body, lightened crank and a Power CommanderIII usb.

Do I need to disconnect one side of the injectors? if so which ones.

Or would I need a different eprom? Would one from a 996 work?

I have the stock 748 one and the eprom from Gianelli.

I would like to get and use VDSTS, but IIRC, you need the stock eprom for it to work. I could be wrong on that, I havent read about it since I had it for my GT1000 I used to have.

Thanks

Doug

Different laws in different countries.

If (and it does not appear to be the case here) the information/idea was produced during one's designated work day or contract period, it belongs to whomever was paying for it to be done.

Indeed.

The Product of Brad´s working day would be the property off Moto-One "the company".

I would still argue that since the company no longer existst like it did and unless it´s in the contract, the information wouldn´t be part of the sale. I´d ask for a copy of the salespappers and have a lawyer/solicitor look it over. My guess is that someone bought the rights to the webpage/URL. If the old site had copyrights, that would aslo be applicable.

This would DEFANITLY be worth pursuaing if you are still using the product of your work on your own site, since the property issue runs the other way aswell..
