Default 999 master cylinder on 916

I got a 999 master cylinder w/ the built in resivor for my 916. Having clearence issues w/ the resivor on the clipon. Any one ever done this before?
What do I need to do?
Did a search and didn't find any thing.

just use the clipons from a 999/749. They aren't hinged, so you will have to remove your top triple, but they will fit right on and everything will go together nice and neat!

You can buy the needed parts from your Brembo importer.
The same masters are used on R1s and such.

I have a set of woodcraft clip ons from my 749 but the 916 fork tubes are a bit bigger. I was going to try using the resivor off the 916 just find a place to mount it and get a longer hose. Gotta keep this cheep or I should've just got a Brembo GP master.

Fred at Yoyodyne has the little push in 90 degree fittings so you can use a 749/999 master with the 916/1098 reservoir. Or if you still have the stock master you could harvest it from there.
