Default VeeTwo adjustable pulleys, torque

Just got my pulles in the mail, didn't get any torque spec for the 5 allen head bolts that keep the pulleyes toghter. Gather that some of you on tis forum has used them ??

they're M5 so i use 8Nm and medium loctite.

How much are a set(4) of veetwo pulleys anyway?

Kaemna has also adjustable pulleys, they are 100 EUR a piece..

STM don't make them anymore, do they?

485 AUD for 4 pulleys,
39 for the tool
and 50 for the tool.
+TAX(to your own contry)

I have sendt my heads to Kaemna for rework.
I ordered direct from VeeTwo.
Gather the prices at Kaemna is incl German VAT.

i got some last week that retailed for au$133 each, making it au$532 for 4 without tool.

Got the service Product bulletin from VeeTWo today,
Loctite 262 for pulley to the cam
loctite 242 on the 5 allen heads 8 -10 ft/lbs torque.

(My price was for the 748R wide Pulley)
The tool is for tighening the pulley to the cam.

I was quoted £82.60 (93 EUR) each from UK distributor Moto Rapido - I'm going with offset keys.

And, according to STM's distributor they don't make them anymore.

I hear they're made from unobtanium these days?

Not too hard to make them your self if you have access to a lathe and a mill.

Here's a pic of the ones I made for my Bimota. I attach the drawing.



Use a mild steel for the keys. They are just for holding the pulleys while tightening the nut. Once the nut is tightned friction holds there's is no force on the keys so material isn't critical.
