Default Top triple tree nut (Steering stem nut)
I'm trying like hell to get the top triple nut off....I have a ducati ratchet thing with the 4 little prongs, going counter clock wise and it loosens up a little then gets tight again??? What am I missing here?

There is a lip on the bottom of that cap nut. You need to remove the top triple tree to completely unscrew it.
