i have one on my 749. it's a lot lighter than stock. no provision for the keyguard. fit seems a bit tighter than the oem tank.

I've had the large (RS Copy) of one on my 996 for 6 years. Has been in two crashes, seperating from the bike and bounced down the track both times. Scrached and thrashed but no leaks or dents. Re Painted both times and as good as new.

I've had the inside tank foam since I've had tank. No problems. Hard to compare without since I've never gone without it.

John (ETI) does great repair work as well.

Before

After

Even thou I tossed the bike 10' in the air (dont ask) and it landed on its nose the tank did not rupture. It did leak but it didn’t pour out.

The big one should feel a little different. Some like it because it gives you more side wall height to lean on. Others may say it feels more bulky.

I´d get a big one, but I like endurance racing and think it´s a benefit on the street as well.

They're absolutely awesome.
I've been fitting them to 1098's I'm running in France, and they are the absolute dogs bollox !

Lightweight, strong, robust and with well-thought-out fittings and breathers, the fit like a dream and look like the biz !

My painter loves them too, because they are delivered ready-to-paint.
Plus John's a great bloke, and though miracles are not easy, he makes the impossible look simple.

Does this sound like I'm pimping his product ???

We are using the oversize tank on our 1098 project.
