They were testing the DSS at some time, but it didnīt bring the desired results. So they went back to the SSSA.

Don't race the 998R as many of the parts I'd never be able to replace. Track days are where the bike gets ridden hard and put away wet!

Used to race a ZX-6R in both CCS and WERA and was doing quite well...until the "Big D" forced me to stop.

Those billet fork bottoms are sweet! Same one I am getting made from Bursi Evolution for my FG43's. Are yours 100mm or 108mm?

108mm.

I was very lucky to get the fork bottoms and the calipers at BCM. The calipers are stupid expensive, but Leslie was able to help reduce the cost to OMG expensive and they did a superb job setting everythng up. "O" ring around the right lower fork leg, custom mounting spacers, custom titanium mounting bolts, custom Spiegler black SS brake lines.

The brakes are awesome. Although I always brake with two fingers, I could be going WFO into T1 at Summit Point and brake with one finger without issue.

They did a ton of work on the bike as I was going to "compete" in the Mid-Ohio Concorso. Never again. The bike won nothing, and was beaten in the "Performance" category by a stock 998 Bostrom with some anodized bits. I guess someone didn't like Bruce Meyers or Leslie or BCM or something. I was absolutely astounded at the results. Had to bite my tongue not to say something. Leslie warned me in advance, but I didn't listen because I knew my bike would win. It was the only bike there, btw, that ever was ridden on the track in anger. Most of the others were hanger queens with 45 layers of wax on them. If only I had added some flames to the side panels...
