Default eBay Carbon Seller Blacklist

All, seeing many posts on aliases to stay away from on eBay, notably in relation to Carbon goodies. Instead of a thread on how, when, why etc., can we use this thread to trace dodgy sellers as an easy to search forum before bidding?

I got stung for $855 American, got $200 back from PayPal, and will get the rest back from the jackass as soon as he deposits anything in his frozen account. These are things I am sure of because I will do whatever it takes to make it happen. No doubt about it, Pitbull, Rottweiller more like, I will not succumb to lesser evil until my wrongs have been righted.

Yeah, that sounds a bit churchy, but it's what I am all about: make peace at every chance until someone does me wrong, then make their life hell until debts are paid, then it's back to jean skirts and upheld promises.

So be it.

Default Caron Ripoffs

OK,

You got this guys aliases, email, etc.

Do you know where he is? You know, the mundane stuff like name, address, phone number, business address. This is interstate commerce, is it not? Sick the police, post office, ICC, whoever on him until he makes full restitution.

Or maybe a friendly face to face reminder, minus the witnesses, of course. I'm not suggesting anything illegal, just a friendly reminder that the Internet does allow for friends everywhere to unite against #$%^&* like this.

Just an idea.

Default the saga here continues, .....look what crap they came up with next

just a clarification to anyone reading the above thread
This ebayer with id
gimmmie has NOT purchased any items from me, nor has he contacted me anytime before sending me the below message (getting my mentioned above email thru my responce) before auction ended to which i replied to from one of my just ended ebay listings which will get a feedback soon! (here is a dated copy of his email)

Dear motochristo,

Is this tank guaranteed to work with GASOLINE? Did you make this tank
yourself? If I win this, will you refund my money if I have it tested and
it doesn't work, or is not exactly as you described in the listing?
It's very important to me to have ALL my questions answered honestly in
order for me to know I can trust you if I am to purhase this item.

-gimmmie

Than, two days later on
10.29.07 he goes and posts on this forum : "sucks that this is my first post here... "http://www.speedzilla.com/forums/ducati-superbikes/28889-ebay-carbon-fibre-tank-seller-warning-5.html#post429413

Can anyone, whom checks this (except these gossiping hags) make any sense of this badly composed attempt to discredit my ebay auctions? (not to badmouth any fanatic unification here)
"Look out for these maniacs while riding, so as they don't kill you on the road ". - so long everyone and largely annoying sissy member NEIL above whom complained about my phone call i made just to resolve his dissatisfaction before all this got started much less than a FACE to FACE! (whom if had been a little diplomatic and stated his needs, instead of demanding to obide to his wants in an arrogant way as a little spoiled brat! and now talks TOUGH! and above patient member STD996 ...google CRESTWOOD NAPA VALLEY man/ I have to get backto reality now!

and look out for my future auctions++ feedbacks "boys"

Default All in good time.....

Did I mention this loser never addresses the real issues? Not once has he told the truth, as you will see there is no feedback given because the listing still has open issues: namely, this guy owes me money for the claim I won against him - he pays me back and he might get good feedback - he doesn't and you know what happens next - he's having to explain how he was lying all this time because it will all be there in black and white when the time is right.

As far as considering paying anyone a 'visit', or sending the law after him, neither is viable when you consider the legal nature of even discussing something like that, and the law won't do anything until every effort is exhausted, pretty much the same no matter where you go.

He has no choice but to send out refunds to those that he's lost claims to, otherwise he will have to get an honest job, and he's got a track record of never changing.

And stop with the insults, they are just too ridiculous to even take seriously, especially considering the point is always getting muddied with the terrible spelling and bad written form. Just plain ridiculous.

And when you do neg him, as you will be perfectly entitled to, you'll get a retaliatory neg full of lies from him...

That's one of the problems with ebay... sellers always wait for the buyer to leave feedback - that really pisses me off. As an an ebay buyer, when I've paid, my job is done. Seller should give feedback as soon as the money is received - very few do...

I think at this point it would be worth it, simply to show how dumb his replies are. There's no way he can form a sentence with so few words that could possibly prove I deserve a Neg.

There's NO WAY I'd spend hundreds of dollars on eBay for carbon fiber with the amount of sketchy sellers out there.

Many, many people have purchased CF from Guido at Shift-Tech and been completely satisfied. With his prices and availability there's no reason not to give him your business.

one of the things i wished were different on this site. most others, if not all have a trader rating and i like it. it helps people see who is doing the right things and who is not. if there was one here i would have like 1000+ and 0- like on all my other sites.

from what i have heard this site and its sponsors are all great to deal with and i have yet to hear of any of them doing poorly. i also have dealt with most if not ALL of the sponors on this site and have nothing but great things to say about them and one of the reasons i still come here

Now if he made a Carbon Fiber fuel tank for my 996, he would have had my business a long time ago, his site was one of the first I searched but I came up with nothing at the time. The list can serve a great purpose by letting people know who does provide great service and constantly maintains their good reputation by the way they treat their customers. This list needs to be more well known for the good and the bad aspects of the business, and I really wish it had been created sooner!
