Hey DT996.....you have to stop stooping to his level..... he is a moron. But please do post the names of his new alias' ...that without the comments still does a service to motorcyclists and allows you to hold your head high...I do hope you get your money back though.
He's operating under the "east coast ducati" ID at the moment, nothing new, just recycled. You're right though, trying to get an honest answer out of this fruit is quite unproductive, and really is a waste of time.
The reason he's selling it and advertised it as "never used" is because he must have bought it from Motochristo in Aug 2006. The description tells the whole story: never used, for track bike only, 'thick' not thin and light. This poor guy is probably just trying to recover some of the money he lost on this unusable tank.
The frayed weave at the seams and the goopy look of the resin are all dead giveaways that it was made by Norbert.
Do not buy if you intend to use it, it is guaranteed not to hold fuel. Sorry to the guy selling it, but there's no other way to look at it.
What the Hell Norb? Did you go into hiding, or did the fuzz finally catch your unscrupulous ass? I must admit, my lessons have been impressing you - considering you changed your Tank listings to "Private". Just don't be stupid enough to leave yourself feedback for a tank you know no-one else is going to pay $1K for, ya dimwit. If you do leave feedback for yourself, remember you'll only be giving us your newest fake ID........

Just more proof of his ill intentions towards Ducati owners, the proverbial name-change-to-avoid-being-recognized-as-a-thief-trick. Come on Norberta, give up already. Or try selling things that won't kill riders when your tanks explode in flames.
you shithead c*ckSUCKER! You don't have to worry (except for your pathetic personality)
Id's of winning buyers will be revealed upon end of Auction (made so idiots like you cannot discourage potential buyers) with your jealous bitch ass emails.
And anyone has a right to change E-bay id's!
L@@k out for more +++ Feedbacks from appreciative buyers as was to Greg for above mentioned auction Ducati Carbon Fiber Gas Tank for 748/916/996/998 (#320218581840) which was sold for 1/2 price of our sale $1080 wholesale price!
BOIL! You shithead Boil untill you are red as a crab!!
Boils? Like bad skin problems? Or the description of what happens when Norburn tries to think of something on his own, rather than cut and paste. Pretty evident who's boiling when they write such words of frustration, but thanks for the demonstration.
Doesn't matter how many times the name changes, you're still the same crook.
We haven't started a thread for GOOD Ebay sellers. We've stayed away from that subject because we know the dumbass (Norbert Erlec) who keeps posting retarded rants will find some stupid way to f-ck it up.
Why don't you post up what you are selling and let the folks here give you a rating? It's safe to say there will only be two posters making negative comments about your work, the rest of us are more than fair (unless your quality doesn't match your description, then it's back to business as usual).
"Exercise restraint and discipline, only responding to posts from legit customers and those with constructive positive intent, you will find that the handgrenades explode harmlessly. You have many satisfied customers who are happy to have the parts you've made. My suggestion to you is keep making good parts, keep getting more customers, take care of them and let them speak for you."
I got a chance to take a look at your stuff, and that's the way every seller should be: Quality, excellent service, and One business name that is recognized for nothing but positive results from every sale. Nice work and those bikes you have are pretty damn sweet!

thanks alot Dan ... i do try hard. its frustrating though sometimes, especially when you see the prices going downhill because a lot of people go for lower quality items at lower prices. It tends to put everyone in the same basket, those who are out there to make a quick dollar with trashy products along with those who are real enthusiasts who try, test and use the products they produce/sell themselves. And now its getting really difficult with products that are all "made in germany" as the euro is so strong.
Yes, the bikes are real sweet. i have to sell the SPS though, had it 9 years but need cash and room for an 848 or 1098.
Read the questions carefully, he's pulling shit from his ass and feeding it to the unknowing.
Slosh coat sealant synthetic rubber coating? What the ****?????? Somebody please warn the Monster newbies!
Hi,
I have a Norton-SP Slave Cylinder fitted to one of my Ducati's, which I'm more than happy with...
The funny thing is I'd swear it was made by MPL of Germany, then badged as Norton-SP.

Steve
no steve, you are wrong there. my cylinders are made to my specs by a company who has nothing to with mpl and there is no connection whatsoever. the outside design is very simular but has different internals. you probably have my first version. it has been changed again since.
