Advice for 749R race battery

can anyone recommend a smaller than stock battery (to shave off some weight) for a race 749r?

Seriously if its a racebike, loose the battery, starter, etc...

This one (YTZ7S) works good and weighs about 4.5 lbs:

Cool -- that looks good. Do you know how much weight savings over the stock 749 battery. Also, any issues putting it sideways and if the stock connectors will reach it OK?
