Default 998 Carbon OEM Belly Pan

Anyone recommend a place to get a top quality Carbon Belly Pan that fits the OEM fairing of a Ducati 998. I am not refering to the race Belly pan that requires modification. I know QB Carbon make one and their's is quality but I was wondering if there is anyone else?

We have some in stock but you will need to cut the side panels to fit belly pan. I have not seen any shallow belly pans that do not require triming of the side panels. We also have the shorter CF side panels in stock.

Thanks Motowheels. You were the first place I looked however body modifications and me don't work in the same sentence. It would end in tears

I have the QB part. If you want to put it on the street you will need to tell them to make a cut out for the sidestand.

Indeed, but..... Bayliss and Bostrom 998 are "S" 998. So, they have the 998S fairing type: upper side fairing are the same than regular 998 and matrix, but the bottom parts are different........to fit this OEM carbon belly pan.

See the difference:
998 std (same thing on Matrix):

998S (same thing on SFE, Bayliss, Bostrom)

To conclude, OEM carbon belly pan from a 998S can't fit 998 fairing. You'll have to find bottom half fairing L/R to fit this belly pan, so you'd have a complete 998S specs fairing.

I've never seen a shallow belly pan for a 748-998 that does not use the shorter sides. All the belly pans that I have seen attach to the sides themselves and can be left on the bike when you take the sides off. We have brackets here that allow that.

If anyone has one, how does it attach?

Cheers that makes complete sense now. Especially looking at the picture.

That's the exact part I wanted. I emailed them and Ian said it doesn't fit the 998, I am sure he is mistaken and you confirmed it Unless it only fits the 996 and not the 998. The big advantage the QB carbon part has is it protect the lowe part of the fairings from stone chips. Someone needs to make this part for the base 998!
