Hi again!

Well, I'm pretty much an unknown around here, but I used to be a member a few years back before moving to Italy. The name was baddgene. While there, I sold my 996 Bi because of a neck injury. I'm back in the states again, and the Duc bug is biting me again...neck be damned!

I'm looking at a 996 mono, but I really prefer the Bi. I know going Bi to mono is nothing more than changing out the tail sections. What I'd like to know is, to go the other way, is it just a matter of bolting on a Bi sub frame or is more involved..other than the pegs, guards, etc? I've seen some fairly priced ones on ebay, so if it's a simple do, I'll get the mono. TIA, and hopefully, this weekend I'll really be back in the club.

Thanks, it's good to be back although I'm such an idiot for getting rid of my first one. I took a huge loss too. But, I've already made the deal for the mono. Picking her up this Saturday!

If someone knows the ins and outs of the sub frame swap, I'd appreciate some info. Thanks.
