Default 749 Track Bike Prep - Help

I've just become a Duc owner. I've bought a 2003 749S from 1/3 of the Daffy Duc team that ran a PS1000 in the MotoST race at Daytona. I'll use it exclusively as a track toy and sell my F4i race bike.

The 749 is still very much in street trim - with all the wiring, switch boxes and such.

I'd like to remove as much as possible - including making the ignition keyless.

I've also heard that taking the fan off is a good idea for the track - like most bikes but especially on xx9 bikes.

What other prep tips do you all have? Is there an FAQ somewhere on the net?

Oh, before you ask - here's a pic of the bike.
