Just some questions and thoughts based on your points.......
What about if it came with traction control and also selectable/programmable maps so you could determine at what point it came on? Or like a factory option like ABS on some bikes? I can't say that I'd use it because I don't know, I've never ridden with it. Hell, one of my bikes still has carburetors.
As for spinning the rear wheel on your bike, the TC shouldn't prevent that if it functions anything like the MotoGP stuff I've been reading about. I believe it is coded/mapped so that how much the TC does is a function of the rider input i.e. if you "whack the throttle," the brain should be smart enough to know you want to spin it vs if you have the throttle at a constant position and the rear wheel RPMs climb at above a certain rate, the TC kicks in
I hope I'm making sense. I think TC is a good
option but I agree with the big brother statement, it shouldn't be mandatory.
