Default 996R Ohlins shock and fork ID

Does anyone know the Ohlins part numbers for the 996R original fitment shock and forks, or the shock spring prefix?

The shock had a 1091 on it. Stock rate 6.4kg

The forks took the old style springs with the 4745 prefix. Stock rate .95kg

Is that what you needed?

that should do jason, thanks. seems fairly soft for a ducati.

our ohlins importer always wants the specific numbers off anything ducati we ask for bits for - even things like 748r fork seals. drives me nuts.

so where exactly on the forks and shock are the ohlins numbers? i know i've found the fork fgxx number before, but i've been crawling around the floor under a 996sps that's here and ****ed if i can find it. or anything on the shock.

the ducati shock part number is the same from 916sp to 998s fe, so it couldn't be that hard to get a spring could it.

On one of the fork feet stamped on the side facing the wheel.

Right under the top mount. I doubt you can see it when it's on the bike

They all take the same spring (except for the rate of course) the 1091 prefix. Every single 748 916 996 998 with an Ohlins shock ever produced. I have at least 30 of them right here. If your Ohlins people can't figure it out they shouldn't be Ohlins people

what springs would you fit for a 100kg rider - 220lb? they're telling us 10 in the forks and 75 on the shock.

1.0kg in the front is fine.

8.5kg for the rear

the local ohlins guy suggested a 7.5 for the rear, but i know others who have said 8.5. mainly road riding - do you think the 8.5 is a bit hard?

+1 on the 8.5 with 10 or 15mm of pre-load, the Ohlins chart says 7.5 to 8.0 but they are off a little on Ducati's rear rates.
