Default Need Help with ECU for 999R

I need a replacement ECU for my 03' 999R. I ruined the first one with a reverse polarity jump start. Should I continue to use the plain 999 ad buy a power commander or try and find a new ECU? Are there aftermarket ECU's? Would there ever be a used direct replacement from someone who changed theirs to some unobtainium ECU? Where could I even buy a new OEM?

I have one from my 06 999s and I would love to get rid of it, but I doubt it would help you out much......if any. It is the one that came with the termi.

Default Ecu

I am thinking you should be able to get one from a Ducati dealer. I think they run about $600.00, ouch!

it would be hard to get one from someone else, it would be coded to the bike. if you found a virgin one of any kind cheep you could just put a pc on it.

What do you mean "coded to the bike"? the anti-theft disabler does not care what ECU is in the bike. I think that I could get an ECU from any 999 even a 749, but I would like for it to at least be an 999s with termis.
Thanks
