I fell for the low price, stupidly and upon receiving it today - I am extremely dissaponted - it looks like an amateur has made it in a garden shed...

There's no way it'll hold fuel and I do not trust the integrity of the captive nuts or the rear locating tab...

I guess I'm just being a nice guy & waiting for the seller to respond to my email of complaint before firing off ngative comments.

I had one bad experience on ebay before where the product was not as the seller described - I emailed him first, and there were no probs - he immediately refunded me my money and asked me to send the items back. Ultimately I gave him positive feedback as it was good business practice.

Same with this guy - he's so far been very nice in emails all throught the selling & shipping stage, so I'd like to give him the benefit of the doubt first...

Default Reply from seller

Well here's the seller's response

Figure that one out if you can... it certainly isn't English as I know it... looks like I'm not getting my money back & it looks like he's getting an ebay negative... stay away from these products...

Neil,I am sorry to hear about your dissatisfaction/and which is nothing but. I wanted to give you a call as soon as I get back to Ny(since I am out of town now and just checking my mail thru a hot spot.To your reply there is no barns in New york (maybe where you are) No one means to rip you off and you are the first to complain /and you seem to know more about c.fiber than I do. I have nothing about wanting a usefull product (no matter how much one pays for it, you being the only one beside another on e-bay to get a carbon fiber tank on e-bay for that price) -but with your requirements you might wanna check other suppliers (and propably still have complaints) - As stated I can offer an exchange (and see the opinion of the buer I'll re-sale to.

Anyway, thanks for taking time for stating all your concerns and will try to attend to them for you. Otherwise, please forward your tel# so I can get this arranged w/o any argument(which will not help anyway). Thanks

I think the Nigerians have better english writing skills than this guy. That was painful to read...

Sorry you got screwed but you could cut a hole in the top and make a flower pot out of it. If what you suspect is true, it'll have drainage already...

Thanks guys - well & truly ripped off - here's what I told him:

Sorry Nor - that don't cut it - your product is crap & you know it.

I don't want an exchange for another piece of junk out of the same mould... not to mention all the shipping costs...

I'm sorry but I'm negging you on this on ebay - you're selling crap stuff with no money back policy & that sucks -
If you believed in the products you sell you would offer a full refund if customers were not happy - that's good business - what you are doing is ripping off customers... nuff said.

I've also negged him in ebay giving a link to this thread so at least folks will get to read a bit more & see some decent pics - make their own minds up
I know he'll go & slate me but sod it - it's worth it to warn others...

Anyone want a flower pot / urinal / paperweight / bedpan?
Free to a good home

WTF is right. I can make no sense of it. I think the gist of it is to give him your phone number and he'll try to work something out with you.

still can make it a planter.....

Yeah - right enough, this moron has negged me too and his response to my neg is BS - he has my contact details fair and square - he has been told in no uncertain terms to keep the communications to email...

Any ebay experts out there know if it's possible for me to give response to the neg he gave me???
It's only fair I get to put comment to his retort...

This was his sarcastic email reply to me...:

"yeah u are sorry and hope they lower the price of beer over there, than again there is prop. a reason for that
Anyway, don't have time to waiste, got to finish my brew now"

What a complete prick...

Neil,

Can't answer your question about leaving additional comments but I think by posting a link to this thread and leaving negative feedback your point will get across to those who look at it in the future. His response was once again painful to read and understand and I suspect that folks will quickly get the idea that he is not to be trusted....

Going back and forth would only drag you down into the mud with him.

Quickdraw - I think a nice thankgiving bouqet would look great in the 'tank'

Neil, I wouldn't kick myself too much on this deal, we've all been there. You trusted in another human being to be straight up, which sadly, isn't always the case in today's world. Like my dad used to tell me and it's true "The best learned lesson is the one that costs you the most". Consider it a lesson learned, and go on. Also, you can always earn more money...

Thanks guys - I realise it's pointless fretting too much more about this & I know folks will make up their own minds about my negative feedback to him...

However my concern lies with the sudden fact that I now have suddenly gone from having 100% ebay score to a pretty poor score on account of his neg to me and I want to be able to at least retort to his neg as he has done to mine...

If that's not possible then ebay is fncked up as he who gives feedabck 2nd has the upperhand - no wonder half these venodrs leave nothing until they get feedback first...

EDIT: Update - discovered how to post a reply to a feedback - me happy now - if in doubt

I bought one of his front fenders but haven't received it yet. I got a stomach ache reading this whole post knowing that now its probably gonna be crap. I didn't get taken for as much as you did but enough to make me pissed. I'll post again if it does suck. My email correspondence has been the same jumbled nonsensual crap as what you've experienced. Ugh.

Well, looks like the eBay seller known as "Motochristo" will not be getting alot of 'Zilla business. Although the red flag went up immediately for me after seeing HIS MAD PHOTOCHOP SKILLZ:

Unlucky mate - please do keep us informed how it goes...
What you can probably expect is hand laid carbon painted by spray can... least that's what my tank looks like
Maybe he'll make a better job of a small item... good luck

If it is a POS, please neg him as such in ebay - let's send this worm back into the woodwork, where he belongs...
