If its from Desmo I can't imagine that it would be a bad product. If I hadn't already bought a PCIII I would've gotten one. From the read on the website it was developed by the guy that designed the PCIII.

My bike is the first 998 LT put one of these on; matter of fact the picture he shows with the quarter to show size was taken of my bike. I've had it now for a little over a month and the bike runs strong the only thing I would reccomend is to dyno-tune it.

The card does have a limit that the dynojet card doesn't have; it is an ADD fuel only card; it can't do -fuel. BUt it you have an aftermarket exhaust system I can't imagine needing to subtract fuel anywhere in the rpm range. Now if you're running the stock exhaust; it might be a problem.

so really its only good for slightly modded bikes.. for serious tuning we need to take fuel out at places, especially if upgrading to shower or different size injectors.....

I guess thats one way of looking at it. In my opinion if your upgrading to a larger injector then you don't need to be using a an add-on style chip anyway; you should be using a custom mapped chip along the lines of a FIM chip or something of that nature. The other side of this is that given emissions standards currently in place and the naturally lean condition that meeting those standards causes the likelyhood of needing to further shorten the injector pulse is slim to none. So in that context I guess I have to aggree with you; ALL add-on chips are only good for "slightly modded" bikes.

All that said; the Power Card does NOT have as much adjustability as the PCIII; however it is much easier to tune; and cheaper.
