Default Anybody ever use the Spiegler inline switch???

Part # 20-01011-52 brake switch that is

Does this thing really work? and if so how?

I have one. It works as good as any other hydraulic switch. Meaning there is a delay b/w the time you pull the lever in and when the brake light switches on. With the electric switch as soon as the lever leaves its resting place the brake light comes on. So the hydraulic switch kind of sucks in traffic, but you can make up the delay by using the rear brake to activate the brake light.

How long of a delay? one second?

I currently am only running one switch that hydraulic switch

i guess the amount of delay depends on how the level is setup, but not more than a second. In other words, the more pull you have the longer the delay. A certain amount of pressure has to build up for the switch to operate. Once you have it hooked up you can see what I mean. Not really that bad, but every fraction of a second helps.

when you say level you mean lever, right?

Im installing it with a brembo gp radial master.

yeah lever i have the same installed. Like I said it isn't that bad.

Mine doesn't even work.....
I have it set up with the GP masters too....
I just use the rear brake to flash the brake light....

I use one of the hydraulic banjo switches on my clutch master. Works intermittently. Wouldn't trust it on the brake master:
