Default Damn it, damn it, damn it

For those who remember, I lowsided the 998 last September. I made it into the grass first though, so the damage was cosmetic. I wanted to be sure that every piece matched on repaint so I had every painted piece redone at the same time so it will be as right as it can be. Here is the damn it part, I took detail digital photos of the back side of both body side panels for exact replacement of the black foam pieces and the underside of the tail section. My digital camera is an old Sony Mavica that uses 3.5" floppys for recording. I left the disk on my work bench and next to it was a bottle of Goo Gone that turns out had a pin hole. The floppy was full of Goo Gone, I took the disc out and cleaned it with alcohol, but now it's junk and won't read. I need someone with a 998 to be kind enough to email me photos of the back side of both body panels and the under side of the tail section (mono). Thanks. Ohhhhh Mennnntal

Phil... Phil... Phil... What are we going to do with you.

As soon as I finish my cup of coffee I'll take some pics. I'll email them to you AND post them here so if you mess up one set of pics you'll have a spare.

I knew I could count on you. No rush though Layne, if you can get to it over the next couple weeks that would be great. I feel like the kid whose dog really did eat his homework.

Actually... I just try and humor him.... he rode in the "short" bus ya' know.

Is this what you're looking for? The FE body work is a little different than the 998.

Yes, that is exactly what I needed. Thank you very much. Short bus? I just thought it was that way for better handling.

And the padded helmets and 5-point harnesses were so the driver could take corners faster right?

Hey Phil, how did your bodywork turn out from Morse FG?

Don't know yet, I sent them in mid Nov. and don't have them back yet. I did tell Scott that there was no hurry. I talked to him at the beginning of the week and he said they were going to ship out last Monday or Tuesday. I hope they show up this week. I will be posting pics of all his work.

Cool. I'm still buttoning up a few things on my bike (winter mods, not the crash damage from last year) so I'll have more pics of the repair/paint job he did on my bike as well. He actually has a pic of my bike on his site right now (under the street paint section).
