Default 748 questions

Hi everyone, I’m new to the board and I wanted to pick your brains a bit. I just acquired a 97 748 and it snapped a cam belt (go figure) so I’m in the process of figuring out my options. The head is in good shape the valve guides are not cracked so a rebuild is no problem now I’m guessing that there is some good power to be made by opening them up and getting some cams. What options do I have for these? This is going to be a street bike so keep that in mind. Also who has had good luck with head work. Besides BCM (Im going their in a week or so to see what they have to say) where else can I go? Well thanks for your input. Also if anyone has a complete set of heads let me know
Thanks
Richie

First of all, check Rockers and cams. you'll find on this forum enough information about flacking rockers. If it is ok on yours, that's OK
Some extra-horse could be found with SP/SPS cams.
And as the engine is open, if you can afford it, why not go to 854?

There is no other place within 500 miles, for you TO go to. Bruce is the DOCTOR. You can trust them and you should use them. Many of us bring our bike from the NYC area to BCM for service. #1 in my book.
