Motor should spin up quicker, slightly better handling due to reduced gyroscopics, increased engine life.

That should just about do it.

4lbs off of rotating mass does more for flickability than 25lbs elsewhere on the bike.

I have one that is a lot like that for a pre-1999 748-853 that I can nolonger use if anyone is interested. The cost per pound would be considerably better :-)
