Default The Fighter

Well other than a few usual things I would change (shotgun pipes) the bike has good potential, there is a bit much cladding around the engine and being a fighter is about being naked.

Looking forward to seeing it in person and to sit on it.

Me I just bought my Black Hypertard S in early October and I am very happy with it, will the Fighter take me a way from that, not likely, I find the Tard simple to look at but the Fighter is busy, the 1100 air cooled mill I believe would have been a better choice for simplicity in the Fighter but it would lack the stomp of the 4V engine.

My thoughts anway, cheers Andi

Congrats on the H-tard Andi, that one is on my wish list.

The fighter is very interesting as well. I can't wait to see one in person.

Interesting bike but at 15k and 18k, I'd buy a used 1098 or new 1198.

The worst design ever made by Ducati.....
Looks like an ugly kawasaki Z750, you know, the bike newbies buy and crash as soon as possible.
Who has designed this thing? When i buy Ducati holding, he is fired.
The minisite ducati made for this bike is a masterpiece..........

I like it and at 85 ft-lbs of torque I think it's worth a lot more than most! I live in FL where it gets really warm in the summers so the rads up front would be very functional here and it'd be easier to keep clean than a fully naked fighter...less time cleaning = more time riding

Love it in the pics, but I bet they don't do the bike any justice. Looking forward to seeing it in person.

Just saw pics of the red one, looks like someone punched it in the face and popped the speedo out, to me definitely in the dark colour looks better.

Same rear suspension setup as 848/1098 which is less than ideal however swingarm is 43 mm longer so that should help a bit, 25.6 deg steering rake will make her very stable as well, been the general trend over the few years to step away from very steep steering rakes which is a good thing.

What's with the 25.6 degrees of rake? Isn't that Choppers Inc. territory? The excess rake makes bike look some big fat sat on the bike and squished it!

Will make it a lot less twitchy tho, my RSVR was 25 deg and stable as a rock, better than Ducatis approach of 23 deg on the MH900e, unless the damper is cranked up she is a twitchy little bitch.

I think black isn't a good color for the fighter but it is hard to say until we see one. I do like the white color that was shown recently in the UK
