Default '99 ST4 starting problem

I have a 1999 ST4 which appeared to be draining the battery. I thought maybe that it was just an old battery causing the problem so I switched it out with a newer one I had from my monster, same battery. After a few slow starts, I put a trickle charge on it and left it to charge. After a few hours, I went back to start it and again it was slow. Did this a few times (attempt to start it, noticed it was starting slow, putting the charger back on it), and the final time it wouldn't turn over without a jump. Jumping will not start it, only turn it over. So now I have no battery and no ability to fire my bike up. Any ideas??

i believe there are two fuses (in sealed holders) located under the seat near the CPU..check them. Just a thought.
